Timothy Henderson, MD Surgical Operations

Tim is an orthopedic surgeon whose dedication to global health and surgical innovation has made him a pivotal force within Emergency Project. As the leader of Surgical Operations, Dr. Henderson was instrumental in integrating a surgical component into EP’s missions, providing minimally invasive orthopedic procedures for underserved patients in Dajabón, DR, along the Haiti-DR border.

A native of New Jersey, Dr. Henderson brings over 15 years of expertise in orthopedic care, from trauma to advanced joint replacements, and has served as Chief Resident at Emory University and as a leader in multiple medical institutions. His passion for valiant causes and humanitarian outreach extends to his work in Haiti following the devastating 2010 earthquake, where he delivered critical surgical care to those most in need. Beyond his clinical excellence, Dr. Henderson is a champion for education, mentoring medical students and others within the field. With a commitment to transforming lives both at home and abroad, Dr. Henderson exemplifies the mission of Emergency Project through his unmatched skill, compassion, and dedication.
