Guatemala Mayan Health Initiative: Spring and summer missions are open

Emergency Project’s Mayan Health Initiative is tackling profound healthcare disparities in Guatemala, where indigenous communities face life expectancy 14 years lower than non-indigenous populations and some of the highest infant and maternal mortality rates in the Western Hemisphere. Partnering with DIG (Dream, Invest, Grow), an organization serving the Mayan people for over 15 years, we provide life-saving diagnostics, free medications, and compassionate care to underserved communities. Our recently released video highlights the impact of our clinics in Jutiapa, where cutting-edge tools like handheld ultrasounds and EKGs are transforming access to emergency care. Upcoming missions scheduled for March 2-8 and July 13-19.
