Megan Carr, BSN Co-Director of Nursing
Megan Carr has devoted her career to advancing the health and well-being of underserved communities around the globe. As a former Peace Corps volunteer in Thailand, Megan laid the foundation for her lifelong commitment to humanitarian work. She has played a pivotal role in Emergency Project missions to Jordan, Zimbabwe, and the Dominican Republic, where she has been instrumental in setting up triage systems and establishing mission operations.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Megan has made a significant impact through education, teaching local communities vital skills in obstetrical care and point-of-care ultrasound for rural settings. Her passion for empowering others and improving access to healthcare aligns seamlessly with Emergency Project’s mission to deliver transformative care to those in need. Megan’s dedication, leadership, and compassion make her a cornerstone of the team and an inspiration to all who work alongside her.
