Guatemala: envision mission of mayan health

In Guatemala, Emergency Project serves rural and indigenous Mayan communities with little to no access to healthcare, where life expectancy is 14 years lower than non-indigenous populations, and maternal and infant mortality rates are among the highest in the Western Hemisphere. Thanks to our aligned work with the Envision Healthcare Charitable Foundation along with our partnership with DIG (Dream, Invest, Grow), we’ve established clinics providing life-saving diagnostics, free medications, and compassionate care. Focused on addressing critical health disparities, including maternal and child health, our one-week missions aim to run four times yearly, with our third mission coming soon. These efforts also empower local providers through education and training to ensure a lasting impact. Together, we are bridging healthcare gaps and transforming lives in some of the world’s most underserved regions.

Missions open for registration: March 2nd - 8th, July 13th-19th - sign up now!
