A true trailblazer in global health, Danielle Witkowski exemplifies unwavering dedication to improving lives around the world. With dual expertise as a nurse practitioner and nurse anesthetist, she brings unparalleled clinical and surgical skills to Emergency Project’s missions. Her efforts have made a profound impact in Honduras, Haiti, and in collaboration with IMANA and EP in the mountains of Nepal and refugee camps of Jordan, where she has provided care to some of the most underserved populations.
Beyond her remarkable clinical contributions, Danielle is an extraordinary athlete and adventurer. She completed the World Marathon Challenge, running 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 consecutive days—a feat of endurance and determination. She has also conquered the Marathon des Sables, one of the toughest ultramarathons in the world, traversing over 150 miles through Africa's Sahara Desert - having done so for a cause while fundraising for EP’s initiatives! Danielle’s passion for service and resilience in the face of challenges make her an invaluable member of the Emergency Project team, inspiring those around her to push boundaries and create meaningful change.
