HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE
FOR THOSE WHO NEED IT MOSt
WHO ARE WE
Emergency Project (EP) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to reshaping global health by using emergency medicine to close critical gaps in health equity. Through our humanitarian medical missions, we provide cutting-edge technology and educational expertise as we care for some of the planet’s most underserved populations. Our long-term partnerships empower local practitioners to make lasting changes in their communities' health outcomes.
REDEFINING GLOBAL HEALTH
Emergency medicine is revolutionizing global health. By focusing on this rapidly advancing yet underrepresented field within the global health community, EP bridges the gap between urgent health needs and sustainable solutions. Our mission is to save lives and uplift communities through innovative, mission-driven medical practices.
ADDRESSING GLOBAL HEALTH CHALLENGES
In 2020, the World Health Organization acknowledged that more than half of global deaths are linked to inadequate emergency care. Yet, the specialists equipped to provide this care often face extreme burnout, with rates exceeding 63%. EP tackles these challenges by promoting volunteerism as a key strategy against burnout, advancing global health, and supporting vulnerable communities. Our work also revitalizes the practitioners who are crucial to this mission.
OUR IMPACT IN NUMBERS
In just two years, EP has served thousands of vulnerable individuals across four continents. From flood-stricken Pakistan and refugee-crisis regions in the Middle East and Ukraine to cyclone-ravaged Zimbabwe and historically marginalized rural Mayan communities in Guatemala, we have led transformative health interventions worldwide.
